Today is a big fan for fans of pop princess and international superstar Britney Spears. The past ten years have been anything but easy for the "Toxic" singer but now, it seems the end of her rollercoaster is finally near, and her happily ever after is closer than ever.
On Sunday night, Britney announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari in a sweet video uploaded to her Instagram.
With her father's hold on her conservatorship getting looser by the day, Britney is freer to live life by her own rules.
One of the first big moves she's been able to make is announcing her engagement to BF Sam Asghari.
Last month, Britney thanked her long-time love for his support during some of the most tumultuous years of her life.
"Not only has this cute asshole been with me through the hardest years of my life but he happens to be an extremely good cook!" Britney wrote on Instagram.
Sam has also been candid about his priories with Britney, telling Forbes back in March: "My priorities in life are to remain humble and understand where I came from and where I'm going."
"I want to take my career to the next step when it comes to acting. I want to take my relationship to the next step, as well. I don't mind becoming a father. I want to be a young dad."
"He's ready for marriage and kids with Britney and is serious about the relationship. She wants to take that next step and have that full life with him," said the friend.
Thankfully, it seems the wait has been worth it as the pair have finally announced their engagement!
"I can’t [explective] believe it!!!!!!!!" Britney captioned the video of she and Sam showing off her stunning ring.
Now, amidst the exciting news, fans are learning that the ring has even more significance than just being a stunning representation of their love.
The publication reported that the ring was designed by Forever Diamonds' founder Roman Malayev, who worked "hand-in-hand" with Sam to "create a setting that combined timeless elegance with thoughtful details."
"Every designer I spoke with about the ring was amazing with great ideas, but I just clicked with Roman — we really connected on the design and he was as excited as I was to make it special — that's why I chose him," Sam said in a statement to the publication.
No one deserves a happy ending more like Britney, betch.
