With the holiday season now in full swing, a new year fast approaches. Much like the one that preceded it, 2021 has been a year for the record books.

This is in no small part due to the onslaught of celebrity scandals that have taken place over the past year. Have a look and check out these 2021 celebrity scandals that fans can't seem to stop talking about.

Chris Harrison bows out of 'The Bachelor'.

Chris Harrison exited The Bachelor amid allegations of racism after he excused the racist actions of a contestant on The Bachelorette. When Chris was asked why he didn't speak out, he said that he wasn't the "Woke Police."

Sharon Osbourne exits 'The Talk'.

When comedian Cheryl Underwood confronted Sharon Osbourne for defending racist utterances made by Piers Morgan, things got heated quickly. In the end, CBS fired her for reacting to her fellow co-hosts in a manner that didn't befit the values of the show.

Chrissy Teigen's cyber-bullying.

Chrissy Teigen has been accused of cyber-bullying by the likes of Courtney Stodden, Lindsay Lohan, Farrah Abraham, and Michael Costello. As a result, Chrissy lost multiple endorsement deals and found herself, for lack of a better word — canceled.

Alex Rodriguez cheats once again.

Alex Rodriguez is a cheater, it's as plain and simple as that. He cheated on Major League Baseball during the steroids scandal, and most recently — he cheated on JLo with Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy.

Lil Nas-X's Satan shoes.

Lil Nas-X released 666 pairs of a special edition "Satan Shoe". The modified Nike sneakers were draped in black, accented with pentagrams, as well as a Bible reference to Luke 10:18 — which details Satan's fall from heaven. Oh, and they also contained a drop of human blood in the sole.

Hilaria Baldwin isn't Spanish after all.

Hilaria speaks in a Spanish accent; her children have Spanish names. This made it all the more confusing when it was revealed that Hilaria wasn't from Spain at all — she's actually a native of Bean Town.

Who will host 'Jeopardy!'?

In the wake of Alex Trebek's tragic passing, several stars stepped up to take his place. When it was announced that executive producer Mike Richards would be manning the helm, people were up in arms. Less than a week later, he was fired amid allegations of racism.

Morgan Wallen says the N-word.

Rising country music star Morgan Wallen was caught on camera using the N-word outside his home by TMZ. This resulted in all of Morgan's songs being pulled from every major music streaming platform, including Spotify and iHeart Radio.

Gina Carano exits 'The Mandalorian'

Gina Carano made a name for herself playing the rogue soldier Cara Dune in the groundbreaking Disney + series, The Mandalorian. After she made some incredibly anti-Semitic remarks on Twitter, she was quickly let go.

Marilyn Manson grooming Evan Rachel Wood.

Evan accused her ex-fiance Brian Warner, AKA Marilyn Manson, of grooming her when she was only a teenager. She went on to say in an Instagram post that she was horrifically abused for the entirety of their three-year relationship.

The strange predilections of Armie Hammer.

It appears that Armie Hammer and Dr. Hannibal Lecter have more in common than fans may have thought. He was accused by several women, including ex-girlfriend Courtney Vucekovich, of having cannibalistic tendencies. Courtney asserts that Armie even asked her to have ribs removed so that he could eat them.

A rift in the Royal Family.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the world watched with bated breath. A number of truth bombs were revealed, including the fact that certain members of the Royal Family had concerns that Meghan's child would look "too black."

Alec Baldwin and the shooting of Halyna Hutchins.

While Alec was filming a gunfight scene on the set of Rust, one of the props misfired and let off a live round. As a result, the set's armorer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed.

Travis Scott's Astroworld tragedy.

Travis Scott's Astroworld show was a catastrophe. When all was said and done, 10 deaths were confirmed — the youngest being a 9-year-old boy who died after being trampled to death. The infamous hip-hop artist is now has a multitude of ensuing legal battles.

Britney Spears' conservatorship.

For years there'd been stories suggesting that Britney Spears wasn't in control of her personal or financial well-being, due to her father's conservatorship. Britney wound up taking him and her brother to court and won the case.
