When people in the service industry complain about rude or misbehaved customers, they don't usually mean someone acting belligerent and accusing the workers of drugging their food.
And yet, in a series of viral TikToks, that's exactly what ended up happening.
In the first TikTok, a woman who appears to be under the influence of alcohol can be seen shouting at restaurant staff, accusing them of drugging her food during a previous visit.
The staff, confused and wary, questioned why she had been sitting and eating before the accusations, to which the woman doesn't really give an actual explanation as to why she'd do that.
The first part of the TikTok series ends with the woman paying $8 for the (presumably not drugged) meal she'd eaten during that visit.
In a part two to the first TikTok, the woman is shown being rowdy as she attempts to leave the restaurant and drive home in a cab.
The staff try to stop the cab, saying that the police are on their way to talk to her. They try to warn the driver that the woman could be a danger to herself or to him if he drives her.
The TikTok user who uploaded the previous videos explains that this woman had called previously to talk the managers, accusing the restaurant of drugging her food.
The woman agreed to do this, but when she came back to the restaurant (the night the first two TikToks take place), she didn't mention any of it until after she'd already sat down and ordered two entrees, followed by complaining that the steak she'd ordered was undercooked, prompting the staff to comp her meal.
When the TikTocker explained they'd been waiting for her to come back with an update, she got angry and aggressive, accusing the restaurant staff of being part of a clique that is drugging restaurant patrons for fun.
The taxi driver did leave, but the police found the woman anyway, and she's been permanently banned from entering the restaurant again.
There were plenty of comments pointing out the absurdity of the woman's actions.
"So someone drugged her food, she didn't call the police or save it and then came in to eat again?" one user questions.
Hopefully, she gets the help she needs.
