Believe It Or Not, Prince Charles Doesn't Squeeze Out His Own Toothpaste

Ah, the life of a royal.

It sure is everything it's cracked up to be: glamorous dinners, personal chefs, private drivers. And... someone to squeeze your toothpaste.

Say what? That's the #blessed life Prince Charles is living, which proves that his morning routine is nothing like ours.

Come learn what else his Royal Highness does (and doesn't do).

As first in line to the British Throne, Prince Charles is set to be King one day.

But you'd think he was already king thanks to his luxurious routine of enjoying the finers things in life.

Former butlers of his have shared all the extravagant things he would indulge in, like having his pajamas pressed every morning.

“His pajamas are pressed every morning [and] his shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron,” Princess Diana’s friend and former butler Paul Burrell said in the Amazon Prime documentary, 'Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm.'

So he doesn't just grab the cleanest-looking pajamas off the floor like the rest of us?

Like many other royals, he's also a fan of ironed sheets.

This is a big ask, according to Christine MacIntyre, master of the household for the family’s Canadian Rideau Hall residence.

In the documentary Queen of the World, she explained that it takes 60 minutes to iron a single sheet.

"There are special sheets that are used for members of the royal family and they’re kept aside and brought out on only those special occasions when they’re here,” MacIntyre said.

“It takes over an hour to iron one sheet… After a long day of travelling there’s nothing better than getting into a bed that doesn’t feel like a hotel bed.”

Prince Charles isn't the only one with a specific morning routine.

It's been said that the Queen is as militant with her morning routine as she was in the actual military.

According to Express, she's woken up every day at 7:30 a.m. with an earl grey tea, the radio, and a morning bath.

If this doesn't sound too over-the-top, just wait.

While she's enjoying her tea, she has her team check the bath for her with a wooden thermometer to ensure it's not too hot.

Oh, if only we had someone to do that for us! We just burn in the hot water instead.

Her morning routine is certainly fit for a Queen.

Her Majesty also has one of her three dressers lay out her first outfit of the day before she has her hair styled by her personal on-site hairdresser.

By 8:30 a.m., the Queen has worked up an appetite from all of her hard work!

She has her breakfast served promptly at 8:30 a.m. in her private dining room.

It's a meal and a show for her, as a bagpiper plays outside for her. By 9:30 a.m., she's ready and refreshed to start her business engagements of the day.

If you thought all of these requests were crazy, just wait until you hear this next one.

Remember how we said earlier that Prince Charles has a taste for the finer things in life? Well, in addition to having his pajamas, socks, and bedsheets pressed, he also has someone complete what one would say is the easiest task of all...

Squeezing his own toothpaste!

This little tidbit was shared by Burrell in the same documentary, Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm.

He said that the 73-year-old "has his valets squeeze one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning."

This makes sense, considering this task takes all about 0.2 seconds.

Ain't nobody got time for that!

Certainly not Prince Charles. His morning schedule is full enough supervising the valet who draws his bath.

“The bath plug has to be in a certain position and the water temperature has to be just tepid,” Burrell alleged.

As much fun as it is to rag on this extravagant routine, let's just all admit that we're jealous, shall we?
