Machine Gun Kelly Explains Significance Behind Megan Fox's Unique Engagement Ring

In case you missed the big news, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are engaged! Of course, they didn't just post a smiling photo of Megan's massive diamond, oh no. This is Hollywood's most quirky couple so you know they had to go all out.

The pair announced the news on Wednesday night and shared Megan's eclectic, non-traditional ring and I'm here to tell you alllll about it!

Megan Fox has been undoubtedly living her best life these days with soon-to-be hubby Machine Gun Kelly.

As fans may recall, the Transformers actress was married to Brian Austin Green for 11 years, and the pair share three children together.

The pair announced their separation in May 2020 after already being split for some time.

Megan's situation with her ex-husband has been messy, to say the least.

Who can forget when Brian made fun of the pair's first social media post together and implied that she was an absentee mother to their children?

Big yikes.

However, it seems the exes have come to a truce, and now that Brian is happily dating "Dancing with the Stars" pro Sharna Burgess, all is seemingly well in the Green/Fox family fued.

To be fair, I think it's safe to say Megan and Machine Gun Kelly would continue to carry on in their electic way no matter what anyone thought!

Since going public with their relationship, the pair haven't really stopped going public about it...

While filming the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass together, the pair formed an immediate bond months before debuting their relationship on social media.

"Our trailers were next to each other so I just waited outside on my trailer steps every day I worked just to catch one glimpse of eye contact," the rapper said in a joint episode of the Give Them Lala…With Randall podcast.

"She has the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen," he gushed, as per E! News.

"The second that I was in a room with him and said hello to him and looked into his eyes, I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame," Megan continued.

"We're actually two halves of the same soul I think. I said that to him almost immediately. I felt it right away."

It's clear to see these two were always meant to be, which is why so many fans were thrilled when they announced their engagment!

Sharing a series of videos on her Instagram, the 35-year-old actress shared the exciting news on Wednesday night.

"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time," she began.

"Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."

"Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him."

"And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."

She concluded: "…and then we drank each other’s blood."

Anyway... MOVING ON!

The singer shared a video of Megan's ring with his own heartfelt caption that explained the significance of this unique piece.

"i know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two," he began.

"the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

This is truly a stunning piece. and it's so sweet that it's so full of significance.

Congrats, you two crazy kids!
