Sometimes, no matter how much we think we know, sonograms and doctor's appointments can surprise us.
There are many times when expecting mothers walk into a sonogram appointment to see their baby and walk out with the news they're having more than one.
While twins and triplets are not uncommon, it's definitely a surprise to the parents who find out this news.
Expecting one baby and finding out you'll be having multiple can definitely be a shock — but a beautiful one.

Stephanie found out after going to a sonogram that she was having not one, not two, but three babies. Triplets!
The video she shared online shows her husband finding out by looking at her sonogram photos.

She surprised her husband at work after her doctor's appointment to share the exciting news.
At first, he didn't understand.

There was "Baby A," "Baby B," and "Baby C," but, it took her husband a few minutes to understand.
Stephanie explained that there are THREE babies in that sonogram.

And, finally, it clicked.

He holds up three fingers, confused, asking again if she's sure that there are three babies.
Then, he breaks out into an excited laugh.
