Creative Guy Decides To Make Adorable Hats For Visiting Toad

Do you have a friendly animal that visits your yard or porch regularly? I do. It's a little brown bunny that drives my dogs mad and I affectionately call Neighbor Bun-Bun.

Neighbor Bun-Bun prefers to be admired from afar, but Chris Newsome had a visitor that was happy to be interacted with — or, at least, completely neutral to the idea.

His visitor was a little toad and after it returned a couple nights in a row, Chris decided to make it a hat.

As one does.

In his post on Imgur about it, he said, "I decided to enter the world of toad millinery and help the little guy out."

Chris found some foam sheets and made a pink top hat.

When it still seemed too plain, he added a feather and monocle.

I'm sure you'll agree that the additions were On Point.

After discovering that the toad was a willing model, Chris decided to make a few more hats for him.

"How do you do, fellow kids?"

It really is a great model, is it? Mr. Toad has mastered the supermodel resting face.

Also, the hat has a T on it for "toad." Chris knows details are important.

Also important: accessorizing.

What toadly cowboy outfit could be called complete without a lasso?

Mr. Toad got a couple more hats before the end of summer.

Chris' skills were definitely improving too. Perhaps miniature millinery is a career he could consider long-term?

Doggo for scale.

Chris' dog Daisy seems a little less than impressed by the hat. Or maybe she's just not as good a model as Mr. Toad.
