The World's Biggest Starbucks Is Opening In Chicago This Fall

Attention all passionate Starbucks enthusiasts! There's a brand new location opening in Chicago, but if you're thinking this place will be anything like your regular roastery, think again, because this is going to be the biggest Starbucks in the world.

Yeah, this place is no joke.

The company has announced the new restaurant will officially be opening on November 15 in Chicago's Magnificent Mile neighborhood.

According to CNN, this massive location will effectively dwarf the previous record-holder in Tokyo and officially become the biggest Starbucks in the world.

And since the space will be open until Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and until 11 p.m. during the week, you can pretty much spend all day inside the coffee wonderland.

So just how big will this monster roastery actually be?

Starbucks

We don't know too much about the brand new Starbucks yet, but we do know that it will be an impressive 43,000 square feet in size, so you can bet this is going to be one impressive coffee joint.

To put it into perspective for you, the NYC Roastery is less than half that size.

While an artist's renditon paints a gorgeous picture of exterior, inside the roastery is where all the magic will really happen.

So far, we know that visitors to the location will get to experience coffee like they never have before. The menus will be way more elaborate than normal Starbucks stores, and there will even be a Princi bakery inside, so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at one location.

Imagine Willy Wonka's chocolate factory for java junkies and you've got the right idea.

There will be a staff of 200 people working at the Chicago Roastery, which will also feature an exclusive bar.

That's right, this Starbucks will be serving up cocktails so you can chase your espresso shots with tequila shots. (I'm kidding, please don't do that.)

According to the Chicago Tribune, professional mixologists will be offering exclusive drinks "inspired by the culture and traditions of Chicago".

The Chicago Reserve was first announced back in 2017.

A company press release promised visitors a "one-of-a-kind coffee experience".

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel added, "This Starbucks Reserve Roastery will be an investment in Chicago and a strong addition to Michigan Avenue, where residents and visitors can enjoy incredible coffees from around the world in a remarkable environment."

So I hope everyone's bags are packed and their flights are booked because we're heading to Chicago this November!
