Hotel In Bali Helps Weary Travelers De-Stress With Puppies And Yoga

Bali, Indonesia is one of those destinations that seems like it was always meant to be a tourist paradise.

Warm temperatures year-round, lush greenery and ancient temples, rolling surf and coral reefs all draw in visitors from around the globe. However, for most of us, it's not exactly the easiest location to get to.

If you want to seriously wind down after your long-haul flight, one hotel is looking out for you.

Even though you're basically just sitting for hours on end, traveling is exhausting.

The folks at Bali's Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel have a plan to help you de-stress when you get there, and it involves a secret weapon: puppies.

Yes, twice a week, guests at Puri Garden get an opportunity to relax poolside with puppies.

The adorable little doggies come over every Tuesday and Thursday from the Bali Dog Association, a local charity that rescues dogs from the streets on Bali.

While they're on site, the charity sets up a little picket fence enclosure where guests can sit and play and de-stress with the pups.

And apparently there's no extra charge — in fact, Puri Garden might just be one of the best deals you can find for relaxation.

The hotel also offers free daily yoga classes to its guests.

And you get a free breakfast as well. Rates start at just $22 a night!

But of course, the big attraction is the puppies.

Puri Garden has received rave reviews on Hostel World, rating 9.6 out of 10 with more than 1,500 reviews, and we have to think that the puppers played at least a bit of a role in that.

What a great idea!
