Mom With 11 Children Says She Hasn't Decided On A 'Final Number' For Her Growing Family

While many families have multiple kids, having more than 11 kids seems like something straight out of a movie. It was more common in the past, but not as much now.
One mom is now speaking out about having "hundreds"of children.
Twenty three-year-old mom Christina Ozturk has 11 of her own biological children with her husband. But now, she's saying she can't wait to have dozens more and continue building her family.
While it seems like a lot, Ozturk has a plan.
The young mom opened up to The Sun, saying that she used surrogates for 10 out of 11 of her children.
Using surrogates for pregnancy is not uncommon.

According to data, between the years 2004 and 2008, it is approximated that the number of children born in the United States via surrogacy was over 5,000.
Ozturk and her husband live in the perfect location for surrogacy use.
Ozturk and her husband live in Batumi in Georgia, a country at the intersection of Asia and Europe, where it is legal to use surrogates for pregnancy.
Ozturk carried and delivered her eldest daughter.
“I gave birth to my eldest daughter, Vika, myself six years ago. The rest of the children are genetically ours from my husband and I, but were carried by surrogates," she said.
Ozturk and her husband have the surrogate process down, too.
“The clinic in Batumi chooses surrogate mothers for us and takes full responsibility for the process," she shared.
However, they do not know the surrogates prior to the process.
"We are not personally acquainted with surrogate mothers and do not have direct contacts with them in order to avoid problems after pregnancy," she explained.
Luckily, the couple does not worry much about finances.
Ozturk's husband, Galip Ozturk, is a businessman who does well — and the two have discussed having over 100 children together via surrogacy.
However, it does cost a lot of money to use surrogate mothers in Georgia.
According to research, each of the surrogate pregnancies costs around 8,000 euros, which is just under $10,000 in American currency.
Additionally, some moms want to be involved in the surrogate's lifestyle.
Having another person carry your child means that everything they do, eat, and practice can impact the baby overall. Many moms like to be involved in things such as the diet and exercise routine of the surrogate mother.
Although the couple has discussed it, they haven't settled on a final number yet.
While Ozturk wants over 100 children, she has not decided on a "final number" for her family yet.
I sure do hope they have a huge house with enough rooms for all of those children! Imagine the diapers... AH!
