When you hit a certain amount of money, really, the only worthwhile way to spend it is to donate it to those less fortunate than you. Of course, if I won millions of dollars, I might buy myself a nice house or a new car, but after that? It's all going to the less fortunate!
When celebrities agree with that mentality, you know they're some of the good ones!
It's not just because they're both actors whose work we admire, or because they're hilarious, but it's because they're incredibly generous and put their money with their mouth is when it comes to helping others!
“We know the struggles so many of our neighbors faced last year are not over, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate the important work of food banks across the US and Canada to be able to provide nourishing meals to people in need," Blake and Ryan said in a statement released by Feeding America.
"Our heartfelt thanks to @VancityReynolds and @blakelively for pledging another $500K in support of Food Banks Canada and @FeedingAmerica's COVID-19 Response Funds! You continue to be not only our favourite Canadian, but also our favourite superhero (sorry, Hugh Jackman)," they tweeted.
In March of last year, the two made the same million dollar donation split between the two food banks.
What an amazing gesture that's going to make such a huge difference in the world! This is definitely why Ryan and Blake are our favorite celebrity couple!
