Matthew Perry Made A Sweet Gesture For Lisa Kudrow On 'Friends'

Yes, the friends from Friends have always been and will remain friends, but what friendly things did they do to each other as friends while on Friends?

Well, friends, it's time to find out.

There are a lot of phenomenal shows out there.

But Friends stands the test of time in a way that most shows can't.

Obviously, a big part of that is because of the cast.

It's been 25 years since 'Friends' premiered.

NBC

And it has stayed in our hearts ever since it first hit the airwaves.

However, it is, of course, even more meaningful to the cast that acted on the show for a decade.

Through the years, they have all stayed pretty good friends.

NBC

And now, on the 25th anniversary, we keep hearing sweet story after sweet story from these lovable actors.

Take Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) and Matthew Perry (Chandler) for example.

NBC

They play the weirdest and most sarcastic of the group, which arguably makes them the best of the group.

The two have one of the most underrated friendships on the show.

NBC

They are always there for each other, and often partake in each other's silliness.

Which is always the mark of a good friend.

The two of them share a bond not just through the fact that they worked on a show for many years together, but through a certain item.

NBC

And no, it wasn't anything weird.

See Monica and Rachel's cookie jar? The clock? Matthew Perry gave Lisa Kudrow that as a wrap gift.

NBC

Why? Well, because in one episode, Pheobe had to go somewhere in a hurry.

Desperate to check the time and without a watch, Lisa Kudrow instead pointed to the cookie jar.

NBC

And Matthew Perry thought that was the funniest thing he had ever seen.

After 'Friends' had wrapped, Matthew asked the studio special permission to take the cookie jar and give it to Lisa.

NBC

And thankfully, they agreed. Isn't that so sweet?!

She keeps it proudly displayed in her office to this day.

NBC

So every time she looks at it, she will see Matthew Perry's face.

What an image.

I really like this one, it's super simple, but super sweet, which is what makes it so good.
