This Mom's Sizzling Response To Her Ex's Cruel Text Is Giving Us #DivorceGoals

This may not be the most popular opinion I'll ever write on this website, but sometimes, divorce is a good thing. It's not a decision anyone comes to lightly, but if you're spending more time thinking about the past than looking forward to the future, it might be time to give each other the gift of a fresh start.

And hey, maybe things got to the point that you were just toxic for each other. Maybe you were keeping things civil for the sake of your marriage and now that the ink on the divorce papers is dry, you can take the gloves off and really let each other have it.

That's exactly what Sharon B did when her former hubby (listed in her contacts as "Bald ex-husband") tried to send her a scathing final text.

After their 10-year relationship came to a close, Bald ex-husband wanted to deliver one last gut punch, but Sharon wasn't having any of it.

The text exchange, presumably shared by Sharon's kid, turned Sharon into an online celebrity.

Fans of her blistering response came through in a big way, finding and following Sharon on Instagram to the tune of almost 300k followers in less than a month.

When it comes down to it, she's got two different kinds of posts.

She's either encouraging women to stop wasting time with men who don't respect them, or she's bragging about how much of her ex-husband's money she's spending.

Whether you're following her for the empowerment or just to watch a woman be shamelessly extra, there's no doubt that Sharon B is the living, breathing embodiment of #WasteHisTime2018.

And boy, does she know how to dish it out...

I realize you already had more than enough reasons to love Sharon B, but here's another one.

Everything about the life she's showing us is #goals, right up to the two (just two) Instagram accounts she graces with a follow.

She hasn't gotten any gentler about her ex-husband, and apparently she's still working through some of what he put her through.

She says that her ex didn't like her outfit, so she went out and bought a new one with the credit card he left at her house.

She wants us to know that although she's having fun, she really did need to get out.

She's proud to have ended things because it was a bad relationship, and she needed to do the best thing for her kids and herself.

Sharon knows that 2018 is for the girls.

She's encouraging women all over to look at their lives, know their worth, and to not let anyone else steal another moment they didn't earn. But, of course, it's all done with that Sharon B flair.

After 10 years of being made to feel like something less, Sharon B is out here giving herself (and women everywhere) permission to be a queen.

Clearly we don't all know what happened between Sharon and her ex, but whatever went down, she's feeling owed.

But ultimately, the story isn't about him, it's all about Sharon B.

Strip away the Gucci (although she'd probably cut you for trying), and what Sharon's message is really about is treating yourself right and being happy.
