Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur

Baileys' New Red Velvet Holiday Flavor Is Like Drinking A Cupcake

I don't know what it is, but people get real freaking excited for Baileys. I mean, I understand that it's a quintessential coffee creamer for after dinner parties to keep the boozy festivities rolling when your guests need a caffeine kick after all the wine.

I'm sure the company's latest flavor is going to have people drinking coffee all night long!

Baileys is collaborating with Washington, DC-based cupcake connoisseurs Georgetown Cupcake to release a limited edition red velvet cupcake flavor just in time for holiday festivities.

Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur

While Baileys is already a decadent creamy liqueur on its own, they managed to outdo themselves with this red velvet flavor, a flavor synonymous with the word 'decadent.'

According to PR Newswire, the creamy cocktail tastes like, "fresh chocolate cake, topped with a dollop of cream cheese frosting and just a hint of cocoa powder."

That sounds absolutely delectable, and exactly what I want to cap off an amazing dinner.

Why wait for the holidays to have a taste? It's already being sold in participating locations for $23.99 while supplies last of course.

Because it's a collaboration, Georgetown Cupcake is also releasing a non-alcoholic Baileys Red Velvet cupcake that you have to chase with your Baileys.

One person in the comments agreed, saying, "I work for a company and was in charge of sampling this. People LOVED IT! Served as shots with cupcakes or over ice cream. It was the most well received spirit of the evening."

We would love to sample it too! Wink wink.

Anyways, you can find the cupcake starting November first when the company changes up their seasonal menu.
