Keep Your Butt Warm At Your Kids' Events With This Heated Folding Chair

As our young ones go through rites of passage on the sports fields, parents go through rites of passage of their own on the sidelines, often roughing it to cheer on their kids in less than ideal circumstances. You bring a hot cup of coffee with you, but after it has lost its warmth, you're left with nothing but time and out in the elements while the kids run and pass and kick and all that.

But just because you have to be there for your little ones doesn't mean you have to suffer, at least, not anymore.

Parents everywhere have been yearning for something like the Chaheati to come along for generations.

The Chaheati delivers a slice of paradise in long-awaited relief for the chilly folks in the stands — it's a heated folding chair, taking the butt warmers you love in your car out into the cold, cold world.

Just imagine, all those other crabby parents huddling under blankets, and you're just sitting there toasting your cheeks, able to actually appreciate what's happening on the field because you're not focused on finding a source of warmth.

Now, the Chaheati doesn't look much different than regular folding chairs.

But there are heating elements woven into it, powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. There are three heat settings: 100 degrees F, 113, or 131, which drain the battery at different rates. At 100 degrees, you have about seven hours of battery, at 113 four hours, and at 131, two hours. There's also a USB charger for your phone, which will obviously affect battery life as well.

As you might imagine, it's also a bit heavier than normal folding chairs.

It tips the scales at 12 pounds, but it also comes with a handy carrying case to help you haul it out to the playing field. And just in case you're worried about dragging it out when the weather is wet as well as chilly, the Chaheati is element resistant.

Of course, it's not just kids' sports that the Chaheati is ideal for.

Events like a Thanksgiving Day parade spring to mind, as well as camping or an outdoor concert. Wherever you're headed, at least your butt doesn't have to be cold.

The Chaheati comes in two models: the original Chaheati, and the Chaheati MAXX. The big difference is that the MAXX has twice the heated surface area of the original, and for that, it costs a bit more. The original is $109.99, while the MAXX is $119.99.
