Mom Causes Stir Among Fans With 22nd Child Announcement

Most of us grow up dreaming of what we want to become, but only a relative few will actually go on to achieve this dreaming after finding out how much work and luck really goes into it.

And when that dream seems like a nightmare to other people, you can be sure that you're a member of a pretty small club if you end up achieving it.

Based on the living situation of one British family, it would seem that the parents at the head of it dreamed of having a big family. But it seems that recently, even they got more than they bargained for.

From this photo alone, it's easy to see why Sue and Noel Radford of Morecambe, England are considered to have the largest family in Britain.

They've had 21 children together with the most recent of them arriving last November.

As The Daily Mail reported, all but two of them live with Sue and Noel.

As you might expect, living with 19 kids in the house can come with some staggering challenges.

The Radford family reportedly spends the equivalent of $453 every week on groceries and can expect to pay at least $190 if they take the family out for dinner.

Things get similarly expensive if the Radfords want to do something fun like go to the movies.

As Sue told The Daily Mail, "'We do like to go to the cinema, especially in the holidays when the kids are a bit bored, it's raining and there's not much else for them to do. But it can be up to £10 per person so it can work out really expensive!"

It also takes about three hours to clean their 10-bedroom house.

Not only that, but it's not unusual for them to wash about 40 pounds of clothes per day. With that in mind, it's no surprise that the family finds themselves doing laundry "non-stop."

By the time the couple had brought nine children into the world, Noel decided to get a vasectomy.

However, The Daily Mail reported that he eventually had the procedure reversed so they could have more children.

They only get the equivalent of $220 in government benefits for their children each week, which we now know doesn't even cover the cost of their groceries.

Apparently, this means that Noel's bakery business has to make up the difference, which means the family has to plan their outings carefully.

When they're not hunting for discount codes online, they're getting creative with what they can do.

As Sue said, "A lot of our best days out have been packing up a picnic and just going for a walk with the kids, or going to a park, or to the beach - and they're all free days out."

The Radfords' big family earned them prominence throughout the U.K. back in 2008, but the couple decided they were done 10 years later.

It's easy to understand why, which likely made it all the more shocking to their fans when Sue announced via a YouTube video yesterday that she was pregnant with her 22nd child.

Hours before posting this big announcement she teased it with this Instagram post.

Responses generally ranged from "Omg is that a pregnant belly?!?," to "I seriously thought you stopped at 21!! I think boy for baby 22 xxx," but one person apparently saw it as an opportunity to rant.

"We are too much on this planet and this mother wil lget other child j cannot understand its really selfish when we know the future for the news generations.. Also when we know how the environment is destroy because of humans what the point to make so many child?"

Another county heard from. Comments were also eventually turned off from the video where Sue made her official announcement.

The video depicts her showing the results of her latest ultrasound to her family and by extension, her viewers.

She said that she's about to reach the 15-week milestone and will soon be able to find out the upcoming baby's gender.

Now 12 weeks into her pregnancy, Sue can confidently say that she is not having twins.

She has also stated that she would like number 22 to be a boy, saying, "I wonder if it will be 11 of each - I am feeling a bit boy."
