Apparently Jared Leto Tried To Cancel Joaquin Phoenix's 'Joker' Movie

Ooh wow! It looks like there's a bit of cattiness going on over at DC Universe!

Well ladies, let's try and keep the claws out of the eyes! And no hair pulling!

Who remembers Jared Leto as the Joker?

DC

A lot of people, actually. He was hard to forget.

Some people can't forget him because he was a d-bag on set. Some people can't forget him because he was covered in super-cool edgy "no this isn't a phase mom" tattoos.

And very little remember the actual performance.

But there is one man who remembers Jared Leto as the Joker: Jared Leto.

And apparently, he's having some trouble passing the mantle on to someone else.

He tried to have Todd Phillips and Joaquin Pheonix's Joker canceled.

The story goes as such:

DC

Jared wanted to play the Joker in his own standalone Joker movie (possibly titled: Get Out Of My Room Dad, And I'll Turn Down My Billy Talent When I'm Dead).

However, it seemed that Warner Bros. wanted to move forward with a new Joker.

So, according to some sources, Jared Leto had his agents try to block the movie.

DC

He even had his music manager Irving Azoff reached out to Warner's parent company to try and get the film axed.

It uh... obviously didn't work.

And so, Jared Leto's Joker is left in the dust. To yell at his parents for being "the literal worst" for all time.
