Kate and Leo have one of the longest-running friendships that I can remember. They're so supportive of one another, and clearly have a bond that goes way deeper than people who were once co-stars.
Whether you love their friendship, or maybe you ship them a little, these are some of the highlights from their amazing friendship.
While she and Leo shot Rose and Jack's love scene in Titanic, Kate got caught up in Rose's emotions.
"The Rose in me was really sort of loving the Jack in him, actually. And even though I didn’t feel that way about Leo, it was quite nice to sort of feel that way in the scene. It was quite lovely."
It was for her role in Revolutionary Road, which she co-starred in alongside Leo. Best friends who love working together? And are so successful together that they win the highest awards in their field? Goals.
No, he really did! Kate told Flare that Leo gifted her with an inscribed gold ring during the filming of Revolutionary Road.
The inscription, however, is a secret between them.
"I think the reason that friendship works is because there was never any romantic thing," she told E!. "He always saw me as one of the boys; I’ve never really been a girly-girl."
Leo was once so tired while working that he laid his head on Kate's stomach and asked for a sandwich from an assistant.
"The assistant asked, 'What do you want on it?' and Leo said, 'Oh, Kate will tell you.' And Leo just kind of fell asleep. And I did know exactly what he wanted this kind of cheese and no tomato and no pickle. I absolutely knew. And I thought, 'God, that’s really weird that I know this person so well.'"
When Kate divorced her husband and Revolutionary Road director Sam Raimi in 2011, Leo was there to hang out with her.
(Sidebar, it was kinda creepy of the person behind them to take their pictures.)
And he doesn't encourage good behavior in them, according to Kate.
"He adores my children but the problem is, he spoils them rotten!" One Christmas, he took them to FAO Schwartz and told them to pick out anything they wanted, on him.
After they hugged, Leo pulled away and did a perfect impression of Kate's face after she won. And he clearly thought it was hilarious.

"y'all leonardo dicaprio picked kate winslet up from the airport in nice today, but not with a car, not with a limo. WITH A [expletive] HELICOPTER"
Well, that's according to Twitter, anyway.
In a red carpet interview, Kate revealed that the necklace she wore on the cover of Time was actually a gift from Leo.
"You can’t see, it has a little golden leaf at the bottom. Leo gave it to me, yeah. I just happened to be wearing it," she happily explained.
"You know, I hadn't seen him for nearly five years and two years ago, he sent me a marvelous bouquet of flowers for my birthday with a note that said he missed me ('I miss you, darling' written on the note)." Kate told Marie Claire.
After years of being the only one in their friendship to be awarded over and over, Leo finally got his turn in 2016, when he took home the Oscar for The Revenant.
She recalled a conversation between them when she spoke to Elle about starring alongside Phoenix in 2009.
"'You didn’t love Joaquin more than me, did you? Don’t you ever love an actor more than you love me.' I said, 'How do you know I even liked you?’ He replied, '[Expletive] off. You loved me!'"
That respect informed their lasting bond.
"It was nothing to do with fancying the other one, or any sort of flirting, or anything like that, that just never happened. And I think that’s part of the reason why the friendship has always been so sincere. We’ve just been very very lucky to have always had that and been able to hang on to it."
Apparently, Leo not only attended Kate's wedding to Ned Rocknroll (yes, that's his real name), he walked her down the aisle.
