She wrote alongside the image:

"Late last night Myles went on & on about how he had to be twins with a boy in his class for Twin Day because they look exactly the same- same eyes, same hair. He was adamant that they were identical. So after the kids went to bed I headed to Walmart at 9 pm to get matching outfits."

She continued:

"Their teacher sent me this picture today. My heart melted. Obviously two very different children, but Myles didn’t see that. Wouldn’t the world be such a better place if we could all view it through the eyes of a couple of 5yr olds?"

The response to the image across the internet has been staggering.

None of us are really different, and at a time when it can feel like society is polarizing and being pushed to extremes of hatred, it is important to remember that we are all the same at heart.

And, if kids can understand this principle, then all adults should as well.

No one is born with hatred in them, it is learned over time, and the more we can do to combat this attitude on a daily basis, the faster we can move towards a world completely without hate.
