Woman Bored At Home Recreates Famous Paintings With Her Dog

What happens when you're bored at home during quarantine? If you're very creative, you start doing some funny stuff.

For example, remember that time folks were recreating famous paintings using ordinary objects they found lying around their house? Well, this one lady has taken this idea up a notch. And you won't believe how hilarious her pictures are until you see them, ha, ha!

So why are these pictures different from any other ones?

It's because this lady has recruited her dog to be her sidekick for this creative endeavor. And, I, for one, think that's a pretty genius idea. Are you with me on this one?

Eliza Reinhardt, a Texas-based artist, has been quarantined just like many of us.

So to ease her boredom, she wanted to put her spin on the #MuseumChallenge idea. And to do that, she got her dog Finn to take part in the fun.

Oh my goodness, isn't that so amazing or what?

I wish I still had my childhood dog, so I could do this, too. I don't even know who she managed to recreate this picture. There must've been some Photoshop involved.

I've got to give it to this lady.

She's got some wild imagination to be able to come up with funny concepts like these, ha, ha! And kudos to her dog for being so cool about all the posing he has to do.

The more, the merrier, I say.

This picture is the Reinhardt family version of a famous "Van Campen Family Portrait in a Landscape" from the early 1620s. This recreation, of course, is the quarantine edition, hee, hee. I'm really digging this one here.

It's just a man and his dog or, in this case, just a woman and her dog.

I wonder how Finn felt about having this shaggy hairdo here. How cool that Eliza used packing peanuts to make this doggy hairdo wig, huh?

Oh, my. This one looks like it took some time commitment on this lady's part.

I mean, check out all that detail that went into it, huh? She even covered the entire wall in post-it notes, ha, ha. I'm really impressed. How about you?

Here's another clever masterpiece this dynamic duo created together.

I think after all their hard work, they deserve to take a nap in there. I know I would if I got a chance. Don't you think it's totally called for here?

Look at that face.

I'm such a sucker for dogs, so I have to say I like this version much better here. I wonder how Eliza gets her dog to sit so still for her to take all those pictures, eh?

And speaking of a cute doggy face, here's another one for your viewing pleasure.

This Australian shepherd is such a beautiful dog. I'm amazed at the fact he's so calm and accomodating to all the mayhem going on around him.

If looking at this painting is giving you some anxiety, you're not the only one.

Perhaps it was Edvard Munch's idea since he did entitle it "Anxiety" after all, lol. I think this is a pretty spot-on rendition of it, no?

Here she recreated the famous "Portrait of Swaddled Twins" to a tee.

I've never even heard of this painting, but now she has me in stitches over here. The dog's expression is pretty hilarious. I bet he's thinking, "Let me outta here."

Aren't we witnessing quite a role reversal here, huh?

The dog is the human, and the human is the dog, ha, ha! I can't get over how hilarious this picture looks here. I've got to admit this is one of my favorites so far.

Oh wow, I'm so impressed by this lady's imagination here.
