However, as we all know, home renos can be quite pricey. So it's no wonder some folks end up going the DIY route. When you put your heart into it combined with hard work, it definitely pays off in the end.

This crafty gentleman wanted to fix up the bedroom he shares with his brother. So he did everything that he could to make it look better. He even made some of the furniture himself. I think this is a great effort, no?
This stairwell here definitely looked like it needed some help. Don't you agree with me? So a new coat of paint and the removal of an ugly carpet was what the doctor ordered, hee-hee. I love it.
