20 Things Spotted In The Wild That Make No Dang Sense

You know, there are just so many strange things out there in the world. Things that you can't really explain, and yet there they are, existing in the wild.

If you can believe it, people actually found these things out in the world. No matter how you look at them, they just won't make a bit of sense. But hey, at least they're kind of interesting.

The sign on this elevator.

See, if I ever saw anything like this on an elevator, I'd just take the stairs instead. There's no way I'd trust an elevator to safely lift me to the right floor if I had to jump to get it to move. Not a chance.

"Started work this morning, put my headset on, felt something furry in my ear, looked and there is a bat in my headset."

Sometimes I wonder how bats get into things, but I think I should just give up on that. Like a bunch of other small animals, bats always seem to find a way into the places you want them the least.

There's something there that probably shouldn't be there...

Yep... there's a snake in that battery. Who knows how or why it decided to to hole up in there, but it's there. It belongs to the snake now. Just pack it up and go home; not much more to see here.

"This happened 5 km away from home."

I'm thinking maybe it's better that we don't know how this car got on top of this structure. We might be better off never knowing. It'd probably save at least a couple of headaches by not thinking about it too much.

This car that's somehow completely covered in pennies.

Honestly, it's not so much the fact that someone covered their car in pennies (because I've seen enough weirdly decorated cars to believe anything now). It's the fact that someone had this many pennies.

Like, that's at least a couple hundred dollars in pennies, which is more than any one person should have.

"Coconut crabs are attracted to the smell of food."

I've never seen a coconut crab before recently, and honestly? I feel like I was better off before. These things are frightening. And I'm sure they're perfectly harmless to people, but that doesn't mean they get to get away with looking like that.

Definitely not the kind of combination I'd ever think of.

I guess because talking about taxes puts people to sleep? No, that can't really be it.

We'll probably never know why this store specializes in both of these things, but it'll be great if you need tax help and also just so happen to need a new mattress.

This motorcycle that has a coffin in the back.

You know, I feel like there are better ways to transport a coffin. Ways that wouldn't risk the coffin falling off the hitch. In fact, I'm pretty sure they make vehicles that are specially built to transport coffins. Can't be too sure, though.

"Looking through my deceased grandma's photos when I found this."

I don't know what this thing is, and I kind of don't want to know. It's creepy and confusing all wrapped up together, in one equally as creepy and confusing vintage photo. I think we might have to just leave this one alone.

Everything that's going on here is one giant question mark.

Of course, getting a crane to lift a car out of a house is a pretty important job. But... Well, I don't even think I have to ask the question.

But I will anyway. How did that car get in there!?

"I woke up to this today."

Flooding is kind of the worst. All that water, sewage sometimes, danger, and of course, the inconvenience.

Who knows how this garage got flooded, though. I don't even want to think about all the property damage that this building has to deal with now. Talk about strange.

"Found this clown mannequin half a mile deep into a drainage pipe tied like this to a grate."

Again, a very creepy image, but it's also still very confusing. Because why and how would someone do this? That just seems like way too much effort to actually be worth it.

That's a really strange request for a window sign.

My advice for you on this day: if someone ever asks you for feet pics, just run away. If you see a sign on a building asking for feet pics, run even faster. This is creepy on a whole new level.

"A guy comes back from work to find this in his living room."

I'm so used to seeing pictures of street are that give the illusion of holes in the ground that I thought this was the same thing. But I'm actually pretty sure this one is just a hole in the ground. Which is worse.

Man, fishing must be a pretty important thing to some people.

There's a time and place for everything, though it looks like this guy didn't get the memo. I don't know about you, but I'm thinking maybe you shouldn't be fishing so close to an active fire?

Do you think he even noticed?

How does this even happen?

I know that parallel parking can be hard for some, but this is kind of ridiculous. For starters, that isn't even a parking spot. But also, why would you do this? Do you care more about parking than the car itself? Just makes no sense.

All of these different soda flavors that probably shouldn't exist.

Once many years ago, I tried bacon soda. It was exactly how you think it was. So I can only imagine that these flavors are just as bad.

Is there actually a market for these kinds of drinks? Or does someone out there have a sick sense of humor.

This extra long car.

This is... really uncomfortable to look at. It's just too long to be a car, but not nearly long enough to be a limo. Why anyone would want this is beyond me, but I guess there's nothing we can do about it. I'm going to stop looking now.

"Our office stays mostly empty these days, but I popped in today and made some coffee. After it brewed I lifted the pump lever and found this."

I think the worst part is the fact that this person found this absurd amount of cobwebs after brewing the coffee. At that point, I'd be checking the cup for spider eggs or something. Ugh.

"1st day trying out estate sales and I picked the 70s sampler pack house."

Was putting carpet patches on your ceiling ever an actual home decor trend? Because it sounds like the worst thing in the world. Worse than popcorn ceilings, even (and let's face it, popcorn ceilings aren't even that bad to begin with).
