In the days following comedian and Full House actor Bob Saget's death, it's safe to say a lot of us have been thinking about our own lives and legacies. It's a lot to think about, and ultimately I think doing small things that fill us with happiness is the best way to live a life we won't regret.

It's clear Bob felt that way too, and his final Instagram post is a great reminder of that.

The day before Bob's untimely death, the actor had been performing a standup show for an enthusiastic crowed in Jacksonville, Florida.

The 65-year-old was on a comedy tour that was supposed to last until the spring. He was reconnecting with his stand-up comedy roots and was loving every minute of it. He has done plenty of shows but fans love his other performances in Entourage and Fuller House.

Audience member Synaca Harkness, who attended Bob's final show on Saturday with her husband, spoke with People about her experience.

Synaca said the comedian was in great spirits.

"He talked about his health, he talked about his life, he talked about his wife," she recalled. He had been married to Kelly Rizzo since 2018.

"He talked about being 65 and never being happier than being on stage and doing comedy. You could just feel that. It was like it just made sense. He was right where he needed to be."

"I just remember him saying that he was 65. And I remember I didn't realize that he was that old," she continued.

"I never, I guess when I look at him, I just still see Danny Tanner. He's my mom's age, so I guess that's what I related it to in my head. And he was too young to go."

The night before he died, Bob shared a heartfelt Instagram post that serves as a great reminder to never stop doing what we love.

"Okay, I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity. Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences," he wrote alongside a selfie of himself at the venue.

"Thanks again to @comediantimwilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26."

"I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it. A’ight, see you in two weeks Jan. 28 & 29 @pbimprov with my brother @therealmikeyoung."

He concluded by encouraging fans to check out his website for upcoming tour dates.

"And check BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022 – – Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this [explective]. Peace out."

We all deserve to do things that make us feel like we're 26 again, and it's a great reminder to never stop chasing what we love.
