Gray hair, once a sure sign of aging, is now becoming more mainstream. And it's especially true when it comes to celebrities. Often stars did everything to hide their gray hair but not anymore.

These days you can see more gorgeous ladies and gents embracing their gray strands, and I don't know about you, but I love it. So here are a few of these fabulous and famous celebs rocking their gray locks.

Helen Miren

Helen Mirren has always exuded a lot of sophistication and style. Often she rocked a short hairdo with gusto. But after playing Queen Charlotte in The Madness of King George, she decided to embrace her natural gray mane, and I think she looks absolutely fabulous.

Jamie Lee Curtis

Here's another short-haired beauty — Jamie Lee Curtis. This woman is all about keeping it real especially working in an industry that often tends to hide things. Instead, she encourages women to embrace who they are, and I love that about her.

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek calls her gray strands "white hair of wisdom." And, that ladies and gentlemen, they are. Not everybody gets gray hair when they get older, but it's amazing to see this powerhouse woman in Hollywood be okay with hers.

Anderson Cooper

Okay, I know I talked about the ladies but what about famous men? I know it's not the same when it comes to men showing off their gray. Somehow it's still a lot more accepted. But when you go all-out like Anderson Cooper that's pretty bold, eh?

Allison Janney

I don't know about you, but I'm such a huge fan of Allison Janney. The woman cracks me up, lol. And now that I see her sporting a gorgeous gray short hairdo, I have even more respect for her. Way to go, Allison! Way to go!

Rita Moreno

The West Side Story star Rita Moreno doesn't shy away from showing off her beautiful gray locks. And at 90-years-old she's just as vivacious as ever. Can you believe that? I want to look like her when I'm 90, ha, ha.

Steve Martin

Steve Martin has made his gray-haired look iconic. The truth is the star started getting gray hair at a young age and just embraced it. I think that was a good choice because I can't really picture him any other way. This look totally suits him, no?

Bonnie Raitt

Did you know that Bonnie Raitt has poliosis? It's a rare condition that zaps melanin from certain parts of a person's hair. Honestly, I had no idea about that, but I always admired her famous white-streaked hair she's been sporting since the ’70s.

Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg went totally gray for a role, but the truth is that she's been sporting gray strands for a while now. She doesn't shy away from it at all, even if it comes to showing up on a red carpet.

Morgan Freeman

There's something so distinguished about a man with gray hair. It's like you can trust him. Well, if he's Morgan Freeman, then you've got nothing to worry about, alright. Do you hear what I'm saying? He makes the gray look what it is — impressive as always.

Stacy London

The fun stylist Stacy London is definitely known for her style tips as much as her silver highlights on brown hair. She even has it in her contract with Pantene that nobody is allowed to dye that part of her hairdo. Isn't that amazing? Apparently, she's the only one in her family with this natural phenomenon. Cool, huh?

Blythe Danner

Gwyneth Paltrow's famous mom is definitely rocking her gray hair, huh? She's been embracing this look with yellow undertones for some time and has no interest in turning around the clock. There is so much respect that this woman deserves, no?

George Clooney

How can you do a list of stars with fabulous gray hair without mentioning George Clooney? It's not possible. This man here is the epitome of a silver fox. Am I right, ladies? If he, Morgan Freeman, and Steve Martin can do it, so can you.

Meryl Streep

It's no surprise for people to see Meryl Streep with gray hair. After all, she portrayed Miranda Priestly with an icy hairdo. She also sported gray balayage in The Giver. However, lately, you can even see her walking on red carpets with gray hair incorporated into her blond strands.

Sarah Jessica Parker

What can you say about Sarah Jessica Parker? She's definitely become a style icon, especially after her fabulous role as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City. Millions of young and older women admired her, and the show. Now she's happy to be who she is and has no qualms about appearing on the cover of Vogue sporting gray strands. Good for her.

Diane Keaton

Diane Keaton has always walked to the beat of her own drum. Do you know what I mean? Some people have called her eccentric sense of style as cooky, but I don't agree with that. Just like her unique fashion sense, she's also embraced her gray hair, and that's really cool to see.

Andie MacDowell

We can all recognize Andie McDowell's famous curls. Am I right? But were you shocked to see her embracing those gray strands? Well, according to her it was time. She's about to turn 65 and welcomes this salt and pepper look, alright.

Jane Fonda

If there's one woman in Hollywood that can really pull off gray hair is Jane Fonda. I mean, can the woman do any wrong, haha? She debuted her stunning short hairdo at the 2020 Oscars and people's jaws literally dropped. She makes gray hair look so good, no?

You see? Gray hair isn't so bad.

If famous stars can embrace their gray strands, what do you have to worry about? Nothing, that's all. In fact, I'm no longer dying my hair and accepting my gray locks as they are. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. What do you think about that?
