Can perfection be topped?

That is the question you must ask yourself when making garlic bread. Flaky, buttery, a mixture of crunchy and soft, this is a side dish that always steals the show.

While the recipe is simple enough — you mainly top bread with garlic, butter, freshly grated parmesan cheese, and herbs — the internet has gone and done it again with this new way to make your favorite.

When you're on the hunt for a new recipe, you no longer have to rely on the Gordon Ramsays of the world.

Thanks to TikTok, you can become a MasterChef at home and on your own time. The recipes are quick, delicious, and easy to make.

Like whipped coffee, which everyone and their aunt learned how to make at the start of the pandemic.

This drink, which originally hails from South Korea, only requires a few ingredients to make, such as coffee, hot water, sugar, and whipped cream.

Or salmon rice, which was shared by TikToker Emily Marik.

The world went absolutely nuts when she shared how she makes leftover salmon.

This is by chopping it all up, mixing it with rice, and then cooking it in the microwave.

Then, you add your sauce of choice and eat each bite with seaweed.

She eventually added an ice cube on top before microwaving. Scientifically, the ice creates steam, which mimics a commonly used method for reheating rice. It takes it from crunchy to nice and soft.

An article about TikTok recipes wouldn't be complete without baked feta pasta.

The trend got so big in 2021 that stores in Finland even ran out of feta cheese. You mix the cheese with ingredients such as pasta, garlic, and cherry tomatoes and then bake in the oven.

The end result is a tangy pasta that you'll want to make again and again.

Yum! One of the best parts of TikTok recipes is that you learn new ways to cook familiar foods. Take mac and cheese, for example.

The boxed version is simple enough: you add the noodles to boiling water, drain, and then add the sauce pack, along with milk and butter.

But what happens if you switch this order around? One TikToker wanted to find out.

They ended up with a new, delicious way to make boxed mac and cheese!

This TikTok hack promises an extra creamy consistency by nixing the straining. Instead, you add the sauce pack into the hot water as the noodles are cooking.

Garlic bread is another food that got a makeover.

The viral recipe was shared by @readycedcook on TikTok, and has been viewed more than 5.3 million times. In his caption, he made a bold claim by presuming, "never make your garlic bread any other way."

The crispy on the outside and soft on the inside texture is achieved by a few simple steps.

Instead of cooking the garlic bread with a full loaf, you want to slice the bread into rectangles. This makes it like garlic toast sticks. Yum!

Then, you want to make the garlic dressing.

In a small bowl, mix together 1.5 sticks of butter, 1 tbsp of parsley, 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning, 1 tsp of kosher salt, and 1/4 cup minced garlic. Our mouths are already salivating.

Most garlic bread recipes have you slather the garlic butter mixture only on the top.

This recipe stands out from the rest as you will slather it on all four sides of the garlic stick. This ensures an even coating all around.

Talk about a flavor bomb!

To finish the recipe, add the garlic sticks to a non-stick pan and cook until all sides are golden and crispy.

"You will never look at garlic bread the same. Trust me," the creator says.

"Listen to the crunch," he says before taking a bite and giving an ASMR-worthy sound.

"Just made these ! Amazing best garlic bread ever!" another wrote.

It's a hit for those who don't like bread crust. "This pleases my “no crust, please” soul. This looks like the perfect emotional support bread."
