Jennifer Aniston is an icon for many reasons, but one of those reasons was because of her portrayal of Rachel Green on the hit NBC show Friends. She also had a very public marriage and divorce to Brad Pitt, who acted as a guest star on the show, and later left her for Angelina Jolie.

Recently, Jennifer Aniston returned to The Ellen Show for its final episode, and Aniston reminisced about her time on Friends, her divorce, and her friendship with Ellen.

On 'Friends' which ended in 2004, Jennifer Aniston played the part of Rachel Green.

But Aniston, who appeared on 'The Ellen Show' was asked about how she felt about the ending of 'Friends'.

"I was just like, 'You know what, guys? Let's make this a completely new chapter.' Let's just end everything! And start new," she added. "It worked great!"

Jennifer Aniston divorced Brad Pitt after five years in 2005, a year after Friends ended.

They met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, where almost immediately rumors began to swirl around them.

But now, years later, Anison assured people that they are friends. "Brad and I are buddies, we're friends...And we speak," Jennifer told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show.

Aniston also reflected on her friendship with Ellen.

She first appeared on the show back in 2003 and was the very first guest that Ellen had.

"What do you remember about - because I remember vividly you being on the first. I don't remember a lot but I remember you being on the first show," Ellen asked.

"Well, obviously what we wore." Aniston said.

"I remember I didn't have a stylist, I wore a pair of 7 jeans and a white... tank top... handing you that gosh dang welcome mat that's just never here. Oh, and there was your pink blouse. You had that golfer vibe going on."

"Gosh, that first show, we really kinda set the tone for some extraordinary television for the next 19 years," she finished.

Well, that is certainly true.

Both Aniston and Ellen have had amazing careers, and we can't wait to see what they do next.
