There's been a lot of botched plastic surgery jobs in Hollywood. Many celebs have even gone on the record to express their regret for having work done.

But nothing was more dramatic — or more regretful — than Jennifer Grey's nose job. The Dirty Dancing star has called it the "nose job from hell." Most recently, she opened up about how it made her "lose her identity" overnight.

While promoting her new memoir, 'Out of the Corner,' Jennifer Grey has been unveiling a lot of truths.

In the book out May 3, she revealed that she had zero chemistry with her Dirty Dancing co-star, Patrick Swayze. The actor passed away in 2009 at the age of 57.

"The same way Baby and Johnny were not supposed to be together … a natural match, right?" Jen told 'People.' "

"And we weren't a natural match. And the fact that we needed to be a natural match created a tension."

She explained that they were forced to be together. "And our being forced to be together created a kind of a synergy, or like a friction."

If there was anything she could say to the late actor now, it's this: 'I'm so sorry that I couldn't just appreciate and luxuriate in who you were, instead of me wishing you were more like what I wanted you to be.'"

While she was part of a small percentage of women who weren't crazy for Patrick, Grey did date some Hollywood hunks.

The first was Matthew Broderick, whom she started dating while making Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In her interview with People, she revealed that she learned so many things from their relationship.

A lot of these lessons came from their tragic car accident in 1987.

The fatal accident changed the course of their lives forever. Jennifer had been a passenger when Matthew got into a head-on collision that killed two people.

"There was some very, very heavy stuff that went down that changed my life forever and there was no one to blame," she shared.

"And many people might think that I'm here to hell some long held secret. None of that, it's just we had an accident. It was a pure and simple accident that was tragic."

Jen also shared details about her relationship with Johnny Depp.

His court case against ex-wife Amber Heard is currently being publicized.

"There was some heat. It was a [expletive] bonfire," she intimately shared. She was in disbelief over this heat.

"I've never seen a guy like this."

"And energetically, what it was like being with him, it was like, 'Oh, I'm being totally, totally compensated for the [expletive] I just went through."

Finally, Grey got candid on the fact that plastic surgery did the Dirty Dancing star dirty.

She had never wanted to get rhinoplasty. It was her mother, a former actress, who suggested she undergo surgery to make it easier to get acting jobs.

Sadly, the surgery had the opposite effect.

She went from being a huge Hollywood star to completely unrecognizable overnight.

The first time she felt like she was wearing an invisibility cloak was when Michael Douglas turned around at a movie premiere and didn't recognize her. "That was the first time I had gone out in public," she shared.

"And it became the thing, the idea of being completely invisible, from one day to the next," she continued.

"In the world's eyes, I was no longer me. and the weird thing was that thing that I resisted my whole life, and the thing I was so upset with my mother for always telling me I should do my nose."

30 years later and she still regrets "the nose job from hell."

"I really thought it was capitulating. I really thought it meant surrendering to the enemy camp. I just thought, 'I'm good enough. I shouldn't have to do this.' That's really what I felt. 'I'm beautiful enough.'"
