Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are one of Hollywood's hottest couples. After getting married in 2006, Urban certainly had his ups and downs, but now he has cemented himself as a father, husband, and trying his best to be the ultimate version of himself.

Urban opened up in an interview with The Sun about how being married to Kidman and having children (Sunday, 13, and Faith, 11) changed his lifestyle for the better.

Urban struggled with addiction for many years, but after Kidman came into his life, his priorities and needs began to change.

The "One Too Many Time" singer changed his life for the better.

After Urban and Kidman got married in 2006, he went to rehab a few months later.

But, once he got out, he was fully committed to keeping his marriage and life on track, declining party invitations and focusing on just staying sober.

"I guess I used to do a thing where I'd work out the ramifications of whatever I did and then decide whether it was worth it."

"And most of the time I decided it was going to be despite the problems it would cause," he said to The Sun.

"I'd go, 'I know this is going to cause this issue, but it will be bloody fun."

"Night-time me hates daytime me, it's so true. But the next morning night-time me is nowhere to be found — he's totally unaccountable."

And now, Urban is obsessed with being a father to his two children, Sunday and Faith.

"Life is very different nowadays. I'm trying to set a good example for the kids, but I still don't know if I'm getting it right," said the singer.

"I have made so many mistakes, but you have to work out what works for you."

"My message to them is always to do whatever they are passionate about, I don't care, as long as they work hard to achieve it," he continued.

"Both Nic and I worked really hard. For me, it was like paying dues twice."

"I worked my way up through the clubs in Australia to get a record deal, and then moved to the US and had to start all over again from the bottom."

He continued by pointing out that "Luckily things worked out a second time."

And it's not the first time he opened up about how his life has changed.

In fact, the "Cop Car" singer is very open about the struggles he faced growing up and as an adult when he's asked about it even if he doesn't bring it up himself.

"I don't talk a lot about it because I love my audience being able to just come and have a great time."

"I've nothing against drugs or alcohol. Everyone does what they want to do to have a great time," said the country singer.

"I just realized I'm allergic to it."

"Someone said, 'You have an allergy? What happens when you drink?' And I said, 'I break out in cuffs.'"

Well, we are more than happy to know that Keith Urban is now living his best possible life.
