Netflix's Bridgerton is one of the most popular shows off of the streaming giant and for good reason. Based on the books by Julia Quinn, each season follows a different couple's love story, while also focusing on side stories as the characters try to navigate scandal, and high society (two of my favorite things).

With season two behind us, we have to look forward to season three. So until we can actually watch it, for now, we can look at what we do know about the upcoming season.

Let's first take a look at the Sharma Sisters of 'Bridgerton'.

I don't think I'm alone when I say that the last thing we want is for either of them to pull a Rege-Jean Page and make an exit. While we don't know complete details about who will return, we can certainly have hope.

“All I can say is I hope so," showrunner Chris Van Dusen told Entertainment Weekly.

“I'm not allowed to talk about things past this season. But I would love to see them a part of this show in the future.”

“Just because [Edwina] didn't end up married or in a match that we saw doesn't mean that she wasn't happy,"

"She is a character who on the show, she really gets to be fully realized. And I love the fact that she has her own wants and needs and desires and feelings."

And while he was playing coy, Simone Ashley, who played Kate, has all but confirmed her return.

"Yes, there will be a post-marriage Kanthony story for sure," she told E! News. "And I'm super excited for the world to see Nicola [Coughlan] and Luke [Newton] rock it, but also to just play with the Anthony and Kate story now that they're loved up and they've kind of sorted themselves out."

Speaking of people who are returning, we can expect the entire 'Bridgerton' family to continue appearing.

Violet, Colin, Eloise, Hyacinth, and Gregory are all expected to return alongside the Featherington family as well. This makes sense since so many of their stories are open-ended as of right now.

Even Jack Featherington is expected to return.

Rupert Young, who plays the character told Us that he wasn't done with the drama show just yet.

“[Jack] is definitely still alive — which is probably a one up from the first Featherington — so there is still hope,” Young said.

“I still feel that maybe he’ll go back to the states and find his birth certificate."

"Then he can come back having somehow made money, maybe married a wealthy American, and he can pay people back. Then he will become the toast of London again — which, I think, might be wishful thinking on my part.”

Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony Bridgerton has also confirmed that he will be coming back to play his character.

“All I can say to the lovely fans is that we know, we read those things, and we love them too. They are going to be laced in our performances and the TV show for sure," Bailey said to E! News.

“We know that, there will be a future Kanthony." he continued.

"There’s a lot of those incredible conversations that happen towards the end of the book, which I really loved, about mortality and the understanding they have for each other." Bailey said.

"I’m sure there’s going to be space for those now that they’re together, maybe we’ll be able to nod back to those scenes and bring them forward into the future.”

And while I for one, am SO READY to have more of Kate and Anthony, because I'm biased and they are my favorite couple, we all have to wonder: where will season three take us?

Well, season three will be focusing on Penelope and Colin’s love story.

This strays from the actual order of the books, which would have followed Benedict's love story based on the novel An Offer from a Gentleman. Benedict's love story would follow the lines of a more traditional fairy tale. After meeting a mysterious woman at a ball, he tries to figure out her identity.

We'll know that it's Sophie Beckett, but he has to figure it out.

Can you say, Cinderella?

But, the show will be taking us in a different direction. I am mostly curious to see whether or not Penelope will reveal to Colin who she really is!

But either way: I am so excited to see what's next!
