Netflix March 2019 List Officially Released

Netflix has once again released its slate of additions and subtractions for the coming month. March will not disappoint for variety and nostalgia with plenty of great films and TV series either returning or making their debut.

We'll also see a slew of original series and movies, including the final episodes of Arrested Development season five -- and maybe the final altogether -- as well as the premiere of the Motley Crue biopic The Dirt.

Check out the full list below.

Arrested Development Returns...Again

Many people probably couldn't care less about Arrested Development at this point given the disaster that was the first half of season five -- and the promotion of it. But the show will return on March 15th for what should be its final hurrah.

Will it be worth it? Will it bring back the laughter? Or is it time to just let the Bluths go quietly into the night?

The Dirt

March will also see Netflix try its hand at the musical biopic with The Dirt. You'll see Pete Davidson looking ridiculous in the trailer here, but the entire band also looks little like their real-life counterparts.

It's the best of young British actors as the rest of the band and Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee. It should at least be entertaining to watch, like on a Mark Wahlberg Rockstar level.

Triple Frontier

This one seems to be coming out of nowhere given the cast -- Pedro Pascal, Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam -- and the story seems perfect for those who might be fans of Narcos or true crime in general. It's a heist, with soldiers who aren't soldiers, against cartels, and it should be interesting.

Other Originals

Some other originals coming in March include a new season of Queer Eye for fans to take in -- launching on the same day as Arrested Development. We'll also see season three of the Santa Clarita Diet pop up with Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant coming back for more domestic zombie fun.

The end of the month will also give us The Highwaymen, not the return of the country supergroup but the return of Kevin Costner to starring roles alongside Woody Harrelson. The pair play a Texas Ranger and his ex-partner hunting down Bonnie And Clyde.

The Big Exits

With all the stuff that Netflix is welcoming, you are aware that some stuff is set to leave too. A few big losses are on the list too, including one of the bigger Disney films of the past few years.

Ghostbusters 1&2 will both leave on March 1st, alongside The Breakfast Club, Bruce Almighty, and Pearl Harbor.

Later in the month, the third of the original Pirates Of The Caribbean trilogy will leave, followed by the cult favorite Role Models -- watch this movie -- and the Tina Fey, Amy Poehler vehicle Baby Mama.

But the end of the month will see the departure of the live-action Beauty And The Beast from the platform, likely due to its impending arrival on the Disney+ platform.
