I don't know about you, but I usually get a little blue during this time of the year. As we're transitioning from warm summer weather to colder and crispier days it can be hard to adjust.

Many of us also suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and it's essential to keep your spirits high so you don't fall into a tough time. That's why I wanted to share with you a few pictures that will brighten your day a little more. I hope you take the time to enjoy it.

Aww, look at that. This little boy beat cancer (Stage IV NB) and finally made it to Fenway park with his dad in time to see the Red Sox win. The father said it was the happiest day of his life. Isn't this the sweetest thing you've seen all day?

Speaking of happy kids, here's a moment any parent can be proud of, alright. According to the parent, this kid busted his butt for four years and almost quit but persevered and got his black belt anyway. What a great accomplishment, eh?

And speaking of accomplishments, this lady definitely has something special to smile about here. She's a self-taught baker who's now on her way to making delicious treats for everyone. Oh, my goodness. Good for her. I can't bake to save my life, hehe.

I know a few people whose parents suffer from dementia, and I know how hard it is for them to deal with it. So when I saw that there is a village in the Netherlands especially built for folks with this condition, I was very intrigued. They act out their normal life while being monitored and assisted by caregivers in disguise. Wow!
