A Mom Created 'Quarantinis' Cleverly Named After Coronavirus Hot Topics

Leave it to the Internet to take something horrible and scary and make some sort of pun out of it. I'm basically talking about memes, and one meme that has been circulating is one that turned martinis into "quarantinis." It started off as a joke about how the name changes because you're drinking it alone, but soon, people actually started making them with packets of Emergen-C.

Emergen-C was not cool with that at all, so one mom came up with a brilliant way to make actual quarantini cocktails.

Lifestyle blogger @rosiemaxhimer actually made four 'quarantini' recipes with clever names related to some of the biggest coronavirus-related headlines.

The first is 'The Blue Mask,' which includes 1 ounces of vodka⁣⁣⁣, 1 ounces of Blue Curacao ⁣⁣, 0.5 ounces of lime juice⁣⁣⁣, 2 ounces of club soda, and rim of frosting and Pop Rocks.

Then there's "The Social Distancer" And "The Baby Maker."

"This one [The Social Distancer] is so good you won’t mind drinking alone," she writes.

"It’s like a lemon drop but when you top it with Prosecco it brings the bubble party to you, no guests needed ;)"

It's made with 2 ounces of vodka, 1.5 ounces lemon juice, 1 ounce simple syrup, a splash of prosecco, and a rim of sugar.

Many people think because couples will be cooped up for longer periods of time, that there will be a new baby boom of sorts.

The drink includes 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce lime juice, 2 ounces pink grapefruit juice or pink lemonade, and half an ounce of simple syrup, if you want it a bit sweeter.

"This is one attractive drink!" she writes.

Last but not least, Rosie made a stiff drink for parents who are stuck with their kids for weeks without an escape.

"Just straight vodka ....maybe add a little La Croix if you have the energy ;)⁣⁣⁣"

Of course, Rosie admits that alcohol actually doesn't strengthen the immune system, and that these were made for fun.

You never know! Rosie may have just given us some great cocktail recipes to try.

Will you be giving one of these drinks a try? Let us know!
