Kristy Swanson Gets Roasted By Celebs For Donald Trump 'Home Alone 2' Tweet

As you may have heard, there's a petition gaining traction online to cut out twice-impeached President Donald Trump from the Home Alone sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. Macaulay Culkin is all for the idea, and let fans know on Twitter that he had no apprehensions about it.

Now, actress Kristy Swanson is getting dragged online for fighting against the petition.

If the name Kristy Swanson sounds familiar to you, you most likely have an affinity for classic '80s movies.

The actress appeared in both Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but was best-known for her role as Buffy Summers in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

If you've been wondering to yourself, "what has Kristy been up to these days," you're in luck! I have the answer for you!

As it turns out, being a Trump supporter has been Kristy's full-time job since 2016.

Her Instagram account is filled with MAGA pics of herself and her husband, Lloyd Eisler.

Now, the 51-year-old is getting roasted online for slamming the the removal of Donald Trump from *Home Alone 2.*

As Home Alone 2 fans remember, the 1992 film shows Kevin McAllister briefly talking to Trump in the Plaza hotel lobby.

You know who is in support of the removal? Macaulay Culkin HIMSELF.

Talking to fans on Twitter, the 40-year-old said he was "sold" on the idea of replacing Trump with a modern-day version of himself.

But wait, it gets better!

When someone sent him the clip from the film with Trump completely edited out, he said "Bravo."

This is the kind of 2021 energy we need right now.

Now, Kristy is speaking out against the petition.

Taking to Twitter, the 51-year-old wrote, "If Cancel Culture is really going to have Donald J. Trump removed from the John Hughes movie Home Alone, then in support of MY PRESIDENT, I’d like to have myself officially removed from the John [Hughes] films, Pretty In Pink and Ferris Buhler’s [sic] Day Off."

After misspelling Bueller as Buhler, the jokes started rolling in.

"So would we," replied Rosana Arquette, in response to Kristy saying she'd like herself removed from her aforementioned movies.

"You were in those films?" asked Yvette Nicole Brown.

"I'm sorry. Who are you?" tweeted Jane Lynch.

Of course, many people needed a refresher on Kristy's cameos.

This then sparked a conversation about Kristy's history in Pretty In Pink.

"Oh no. How will Pretty [in] Pink ever be the same without your zero lines?" asked one Twitter user.

"Oh no. If you only were aware of the history behind it," Kristy replied.

If you're wondering what the alleged history is behind this John Hughes classic, don't worry, I'm here to answer your burning questions!

"The reshoot of the proper ending, made Andi go with d-bag Blaine and not Ducky. Kristy then smiles and points to Ducky. So Ducky won the big prize. According to the DVD," tweeted @Vistaracefan.

"Extras on screen are paid *significantly* more if they have lines. So no one in production thought she was worth the cost," clarified another user.

"This could’ve been any attractive person willing to make a low budget cameo. That she’s using this as a gotcha is really pathetic," they concluded.

Yikes.

Needless to say, if Kristy wanted herself cut out from these films, it would be equally as significant to the plot as Donald Trump's cameo in *Home Alone 2.*
