People Share The Ways They Got Revenge On Bullies

Show of hands: have you ever ever been tormented by Regina George another person?

Given the fact that bullying is universal, there's a pretty good chance that your hand is up. Thankfully, revenge is also universal.

So when one Redditor asked people to share the ways they got revenge on bullies, there were plenty of answers. Some of these tactics are truly shocking (and creative!).

1. The silent action

Bullying doesn't always end in high school. This Redditor was peacefully living her life when she received messages from a girl who used to bully her.

Instead of stooping to the girl's level, she screenshotted the messages and posted them to her wall. A bunch of her friends messaged the Redditor asking if she was OK.

2. The mugshots

"I worked as a newscast director for my local TV station a few years back. Part of the job was making show graphics for each newscast, including for the local Crimestoppers segment. I prepped the mugshots of no less than three people who gave me [expletive] in school for air during my tenure there. That always managed to put a smile on my face." - u/UncleSaltine

3. The wedding

Girl code doesn't exist if someone is mean to you. So this Redditor got the ultimate revenge by marrying her bully's high school crush! Let's hope she actually does love him, though!

4. The rejection

"My bully hit on me at some bar years after he bullied me. I knew who he was immediately. But he had no idea who I was so he kept going. Finally I asked 'do you know who I am?' And he said no. I said 'I'm (so and so) and you made my life a living hell in elementary school and I want an apology.' His face dropped and he apologized profusely." -u/MichieD

5. The bad memory

Running into your bully is never pleasant. This Redditor was working as a waitress when their former bully got seated in her section.

She decided that the best revenge was pretending as though she'd never met them before.

The bully kept insisting that she must remember her, but the Redditor nailed her performance.

The girl was flabbergasted. That day, she received the ultimate slap in the face: knowing what it is to feel forgotten.

6. The tattoo

"They got a huge full back tattoo - the ugliest tattoo I have ever seen. I saved the jpeg on my desktop and named it REVENGE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH and I look at it occasionally if I get sad." - u/iheartlungs

7. The reference

This Redditor hit their bully where it hurt most: their career.

Since they both worked in the same field, the bully asked the Redditor if they could be their work reference. Bad idea. This gave the Redditor the opportunity to scare away potential employers.

8. The acceptance

"My best revenge was to just keep on being myself. This girl in high school would criticize me on everything, call me names and pick up fights with me for no reason. She eventually got kicked out of school." - u/carlinha1289

9. The slap

While violence is never the answer, you can't help but root for this Redditor's daughter who was bullied for being Type 1 diabetic.

When the bully waved a big chocolate chip cookie in her face, her daughter had enough. She got up and slapped the girl across the face. The cookie went flying, too.

10. The decaf coffee

"I gave him decaf latte before he left to go to his high powered Wall st exec job, haha, he's going to be tired around 11!" - u/Theres_A_FAP_4_That. A small, but efficent form of revenge!

11. The cheater

While this next method certainly isn't recommended, it is dang effective.

This Redditor got the ultimate revenge by sleeping with his bully's wife. They were heartbroken when they came home early one night and found them.

12. The karma

"I was bullied for a lot of things, primarily for being overweight and being nerdy. A lot of my bullies are now also fat, or have noticeably put on weight, while I've started losing. One of them is a drug addict. One was arrested on child pornography charges." - u/solace-in-misery

13. The supervisor

It's a sad fact that work bullies exist, too. This Redditor was tormented by one for four years. They eventually left and became a lab supervisor at a different company.

Cue the revenge! "Guess whose resume gets plopped on my pile and went straight to the trash?" they wrote.

14. The phone number

"So I have a friend who sometimes 'catches up' with my high school bully and gets his new number. My friend gives me his number and then I spend the afternoon signing him up for gay dating sights and some weird craigslist [expletive]. I'm told he has had to change numbers about 20-30 times in the last 3 years." - u/tff_silverton

15. The favorite child

Much like Kevin from Home Alone, this Redditor dealt with their bullying older brother being the favorite child.

The Redditor got their revenge by being more successful. This eventually made them the favorite.

16. The car wash

"Growing up to have a successful career and then going back to my hometown to visit my parents, and get a car wash.

Then seeing the person who bullied me in school be one of the people drying my car at said car wash." - u/QwertyCody

17. The slow burn

Sometimes, the best form of revenge is seeing what people do to themselves.

That's how this Redditor got an insane amount of satisfaction. They saw their bullies live up to the expectations set out for them by becoming single, unwed mothers by 24.

18. The forgiveness

Unsplash | Gus Moretta

"I forgave him. He tormented me throughout elementary school. He ended up sending me a message on Facebook about 2 years ago (we graduated high school in 2010), he apologized profusely and I genuinely believed him." - u/Coffin_Nail
